Ocoee filmmakers! Tired of commuting to fests across the state? Here’s one right in your backyard! Now in its 8th year, CENFLO (or Central Florida Film Festival for those who love words), will take place at the newly renovated West Orange 5 Cinema on Labor Day weekend (Aug 31 – Sep 1).
Special Guests/Speakers at this year’s CENFLO include; Roger Del Pozo from New York Film Academy, “Sleepaway Camp” star Felissa Rose, Richard Speight Jr. from television’s “Supernatural” and Tara Cardinal from the long awaited Florida made feature, “Legend of the Red Reaper,” which will have its World Premiere at 7:40pm on Saturday, August 31 in Theater 3.
Scheduled post-film Q&As: Robin Hauser Reynolds “Running For Jim,” Steve Tatone from “Blind Pass,” David Norman from “Left of Center,” Felissa Rose from “Sleepaway Camp,” (my personal favorite!) Jackie Dozier from “The In Between,” Lauren Petzke from “Zombiewood,” Richard Speight, Jr. from “America 101,” Peter Spencer from “Return to the Hiding Place,” Eric Haywood from “Four of Hearts,” and Gary Hebert from “Thursday’s Speaker.”

8th Annual Central Florida Film Festival (Ocoee, Florida)
Horror ‘scream queen’ Felissa Rose and “Supernatural’s” Richard Speight Jr., are just two of the Hollywood Celebrities to be on hand at this year’s Central Florida Film Festival over the Labor Day weekend in Ocoee, Florida. The festival dates are Friday, August 30th thru Sunday, September 1st at the West Orange Cinemas at the corner of McGuire and Route 50 in Ocoee, Florida.
CENFLO will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the horror cult classic, “SLEEPWAWAY CAMP,” which will screen on Saturday evening at 7:45 pm followed by a Question and Answer by the film’s star, Felissa Rose who will also pose for photos after the screening. Felissa played young Angela in the film that has also brought four sequels over the years.
Earlier on Saturday (1:00 pm) “Supernatural’s” Richard Speight Jr., will highlight a short series of films with his movie “America 101.” Richard will also perform a Question and Answer with two other filmmakers during the program.
