Open Your Eyes

Team ICS attended the 2013 Florida Film Festival Press Preview tonight and boy are our eyes TIRED! (Kidding!) We did watch 4 short films and over 70 trailers but that’s nothing compared to the 170 films showing at this year’s fest – and those were the ones who actually made it. The selections committee goes through over one thousand films from all over the world EVERY year!

The 2013 Florida Film Festival, sponsored by Full Sail University, announced that a record-breaking 170 films representing 23 countries were selected from over 1500 entries. Of the 170 films, 143 are having their Florida premiere (or higher) at the Festival. There will be 22 World premieres, 4 North American premieres, 4 US premieres, 40 East Coast premieres, and 49 Southeast premieres. This year’s Festival runs April 5-14, 2013 and is located in Central Florida.

Among the Florida made films at this year’s Florida Film Festival also include winning selections from Enzian FilmSlam who later advanced to the 2012 Brouhaha Film & Video Showcase;
