Crafting the Character Arc: How to Successfully Navigate Your Character Through Your Narrative

Many writers think that, just because they have their basic structure in place, their stories are destined to succeed. The problem with many narratives can often come in those places between the plot points. Ensuring that the story is moving forward in every scene often comes in the shape of the character arc. Arne Starr’s Trailer Show has been with us for a couple of decades already and continues as usual this year on Friday and Saturday with all the latest trailers and behind the scenes action of all the upcoming genre films and television, and more, coming up in the next year, plus all the latest production gossip of what is coming further down the line. Join Arne as he presents all the latest and greatest and share’s his experience of working in Hollywood. Room 222 5:15pm – 6:05pm (Repeats Saturday 3/16 4:10pm – 5:40pm, Sunday 11:40am – 12:30pm)

The Seventh Annual MegaCon Indie Film Festival

This program showcases numerous award-winning independent short films in the genres of action, anime, animation, comedy, horror, superheroes, science fiction, and suspense. This selection of films is hosted by 3 Boys Productions the founders of the Melbourne Independent Filmmakers Festival and the creators of the horror adventure comic series “Students of the Unusual”. Donations will be accepted for the Hero Initiative. Room 222 6:30pm – 8:00pm
