Mobile Filmmaking: Gary Kennedy’s “The Maker”

We came across a short film today by local writer Gary Kennedy called, “The Maker.” According to Gary’s YouTube page, he says, “This was written and shot on our lunch break using a Samsung Galaxy S3 cell phone.

He also notes that this short is his directorial debut. For being shot on a Samsung Galaxy S III and edited on Windows Movie Maker, this is a great first effort!


Note to Samsung: Currently we shoot our “Thoughts From the Popcorn Gallery” segment using two iPhone 4S. We would love to see how the Galaxy S III – or even the Galaxy Note II – compares. No pressure…
